Results of the Poll and a Wedding Mani

OK so I am finally getting to the Wedding Outfit that has to do with that poll that has been up forever. But first let's go with the mani I chose.

The bride's favorite color is purple and she loves hearts so I decided on this:

Let's see if I remember all of this... 3 coats of Nubar Twilight Kiss, not sure what Konad plate, but stamped with Konad sp in Royal Purple. Then I used Nfu-Oh #52 on the left side of the hearts and Gosh Rainbow of the right side of the hearts, topped it all off with Out the Door in silver holo.
I loved this mani so much. It lasted about 3 days then started peeling off, too many coats?

Here's my hair and makeup:

I curled my hair with a 1in iron then pinned up all the curls so they would cool and hopefully may hair would stay curled for at least an hour. (my hair doesn't curl worth sh*t!)

When I took it down after an hour, the curls looked like this:

This was a bit too curly around my face so I pinned it back

with this cute clip

I ended up going with Option 2:

the one that everyone chose. With black pants and shoes. Of course I didn't take any pics of the completed me b/c I had to get the bf going so we wouldn't be late. Thankfully we weren't!
Thanks for all your help with this, Ladies!

NOTD: L'oreal Party Hop Over Nubar Twilight Kiss

***Very sorry about the horrid pics. I hope to get a new camera this Saturday and no not a Valentine gift, but a Christmas present that was not cashed in yet.***
Onto the post...

2 days ago I did a mani of Nubar Twilight Kiss.

The recipe:

1 coat Nail Tek Formula II basecoat

2 coats Nubar Twilight Kiss

1 coat Nail Tek Formula II topcoat

This I believe is very simiar to OPI Parlez Vous...

But then again, maybe not. Of course these pics can be deceiving. Maybe one day I will do a comparison between these 2.

So one day after I got bored with the color and I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted to do a Konadicure or layer with another color.

I decided to layer. So I chose an *untried* that being L'Oreal Party Hop:

I have never tried this one at all, so I don't know if it is sheer by itself. Which I think it is. But here is the result:

I like it so much more than just the Nubar!

Then before I added the Party Hop to my other hand, I decided to layer MAC Varicose Violet over Twilight Kiss before PH on my pinky. On the left VV, I really don't think it looks like this. I think it has undertones of gold in it. On the right: pinky has TK, VV, and PH; rest has TK and PH.

Only one coat of each of PH and VV, but still prettier by far.

So today I am walking around like this, but who really looks at the pinky if most of the hand is purple?

What do y'all think?

Nubar Indigo Illusion

For some reason lately I have been liking green np. Well here's one that's not only green. It reminds me of those mood stones rings that some of us used to wear as kids:

This is two coats on the first day and I did have some chips so I went over it on the second day with another coat. I am using Nail Tek II ridge filler and topcoat to hopefully get some stronger nails! Maybe that's why it didn't last too long.

Any of you ladies had problems with this combo?

And yes that is Lash Stilleto. I am starting to love it and I love the packaging even more!
