Confetti Pink Paradise + wnw Cupid

I picked up Confetti Pink Paradise b/c I read here that is a good dupe for OPI Bubble Bath. I wanted BB b/c I watch Giada de Laurentiis all the time and love her soft pink nail color.

I also picked up wnw Cupid that was release when the Holiday palletes were out.

I did three coats of PP and 2 coats of Cupid w/ChG Fast Forward.

I did this before I filed my nails down. I can keep them this length but I am so afraid that they'll break stupidly like getting them stuck in a hanger. Almost happened the other day at Kohl's.
Did you get any of the wnw holiday colors?

wet n wild Gray's Anatomy + Rimmel Camouflage

I managed to find a couple of the new fastdry wet Wwnw polishes and new 6 pan palettes the other day. And I got a coupon in my e-mail from wnw for $1.00 off any wnw purchase of $2.99 or more + they are on sale at Walgreens! So see if you can find them!

Here is Gray's Anatomy... I think this could be a good dupe for Katy Perry's OPI Not Like the Movies, but that's total speculation. Here's Scrangie's pic of Not Like the Movies and here's Scrangie comparing Gray's Anatomy to Deborah Lippmann Wicked Game.

I did three coats alone and there was still a VNL so I layered it over one of the colors in this duochrome. I chose Rimmel Camouflage.

This is so much more stunning IRL!!! Sorry these didn't come out so well. Definitely not fast drying for either of these. I added ChG Fast Forward to speed up the process a bit.

OK the other day I posted that I thought this was comparable to one of Zoya's new spring polishes- Gemma. Well I am totally off! This is Kelly @ Vampy Varnish's swatch of Gemma and I am off, don't know what I was thinking! But I think to dupe Gemma you need kind of a pea green base and maybe one of the CND sparkle effects polishes with a blue cast? Don't know...whatever.

What do you think of this combo? Have you picked up any new wnw polishes yet?

Recent 'halloween' haul & NOTD

I managed to pick up the following four at one trip to a CVS down the street. How lucky was that?

Milani Enchantment, Fairy Tale, Spellbinding, and WnW Fantasy Makers Black Magic

This was my first Lippman that I bought and it was on clearance at Bath & Body Works! Fade to Black covered in one coat!

Then 2 coats of WnW Black Magic

I loved this mani! I think I should have painted BM from left to right as well as normally. Then I would have gotten more different 'confetti' style.

I think that BM is an almost dupe to Jesse's Girl Confetti. It might have more blues and purples. But I really like this one and it was easy to find and cheap! $1.99, I think.

I actually wore Fairy Tale the other day and I thought I took pics, but I didn't. I think I like it more than Illamasqua Phallic. It covered in 2 coats and it lasted about 5 days!

wet 'n wild color changing lipgloss

I found this lovely on a display at the Jewel by my house. I didn't know something like this existed in a grocery store! I think this is a great comparison to Smashbox O-Gloss, but I don't own it. It's way too expensive! I got this for $3.99, compared to $22 for Smashbox, I think I did pretty good.

Local Drugstore Haul!

Ladies, if you have any local drugstore (no chains) that are nearby, I suggest to check them out! Look what I found for a mere $12!

I found this at my local drugstore called Riley drug. I had totally forgotten about it until I saw a post on MUA, I believe, saying to check out the local ds for great deals!

Idk if you would call this a 'deal' exactly. They were almost all $.99, which the Wet 'n Wilds are everywhere, the Revlon was about $5.

I used to have these chromes, but I remember trying to keep them on w/o chipping was a b*tch! I heard that these chromes are good for Koni's, so I will be trying that one next!

The Eggplant Frost and Wild Orchid are very similiar. But the Wild Orchid has a lot of glitter all throughout.

Not a big fan of greens, but I got Caribbean Frost to put under ChG He's Is Going In Circle from the Kaleidoscope collection.

And the last 2 I can use together and do a French mani with them.

Jewel-Osco Haul! I Know It Sounds Wierd...

If I were you ladies I would head out to your nearest Ulta, Walgreens, Jewel-Osco, pretty much any drugstore that sells beauty items or beauty stores. Why? It's about spring-time and around this time all of these places have a bunch of stuff on clearance because they are making room for the new beauty items that are coming out. How do I know this? I used to work at a Walgreens and that whole wall of makeup they are doing resets and reorganizing. It was a b**** when I worked there. After work my hands would hurt so bad b/c of that stupid plastic shelving and trying to peel off the price stickers.

What could I possibly get from Jewel Osco for about $30? How about these beauts:

Wet 'N Wild MegaLast Infatuation- glimmery red- I applied this on my toes and it was very runny. I had to do three coats, but it turns out as a bright shimmery red out of the bottle.

Maybelline Cutie Pink- magenta with some purple sparkles

Maybelline Berry Charming - light magenta

Revlon Flash of Fuschia- light fuschia with blue glimmer

Revlon Plum Seduction- a creme light plum

Revlon Super Lustrous Shiny Sheers in Sheer Dewy Blossom- this shows up pretty sheer but if it's layered it turns out to a pretty, bright pink in the sun

Crest Peppermint Oil provides a minty breath sensation while the gloss itself
gives a dazzling high-shine without all that "sticky".

I don't know about that, it is still pretty sticky. The taste is OK, it's pretty minty but has another weird flavor that I can't place. So if you don't like flavored lipglosses I wouldn't try this one. I went for it b/c #1 it was on sale and I also really like minty chapstick. This one I might pawn off to a family member if they would take it. The color does not come out blue at all. It's pretty much clear.

Neutrogena Mineral Sheers in Stone- top is a light brown almost white, the bottom pairs nicely with it as a darker brown
