I managed to go to a Beauty Supply Store a couple miles away from my house today. Check out what I scored for just under $20!

Isn't that awesome! They had the old CC display of the Pure Energy Collection (with the blue, orange, and yellow left) and the LA Girls they had were locked up! They were only $2.99 though same as the CC-- they must be some wanted items!

They also had an old OPI Hollywood display way high up behind the cash register. It was weird but I totally scored---which means you scored too!

wet 'n wild color changing lipgloss

I found this lovely on a display at the Jewel by my house. I didn't know something like this existed in a grocery store! I think this is a great comparison to Smashbox O-Gloss, but I don't own it. It's way too expensive! I got this for $3.99, compared to $22 for Smashbox, I think I did pretty good.

My Lancome Winnings

You might remember a while back when I did a post about The Lancome Blog giving away Oscillation Powerbooster, Hypnose mascara and a Bi-Facil eye makeup remover. Well I WON!

Here's what the lovely Kerry Diamond sent me:

I have never bought anything from Lancome, so I'm sure they put this tissue paper a box when they wrap something for you. But I just thought it was cute, so here's a close-up of what it says all over the paper. I was also surprised that my camera could zoom in that close!

L'oreal Hip Kohl Eyeliner and Color Presso Review and Swatches

So I received my first beauty products for review from total beauty today and I am so excited to do a review on these. And the best thing is: they're free! The catch: I have to do a review on my blog and do reviews on them on totalbeauty.com. Not too shabby! Go HERE to see the requirements and submit your blog.

Onto the reviews!

Here's the first up: L'oreal Hip Kohl Eyeliner in Navy Kohl on the left and Gold Kohl on the right. To be honest, I put on Navy Kohl and I thought it was black- it's really dark.

Here are the 'brushes'. They're not really brushes they are like a bend-y stick, which does kinda make it easy to apply. But as you can see below, when they go on they are a bit flakey. Shimmery, but flakey. So the 'navy' one kinda flaked onto the lower part of my eye. I think I will like the gold one better just because I heard that gold goes better with blue eyes.

The colors were great, but check out the applicators:

Just to push out both of these at the same time is kinda hard. I know that you can use either or but I like the combination of the both. Then getting it on your lips while pushing the lipglosses out is hard, too.

Overall I like the both of these a lot. I like the bend-y applicator for the eyeliners and I like the colors of the lipglosses.
