New Sinful Colors Beverly Hills + BM mani!

I'm still on the hunt for the OPI PotC dupes Adventure Island (<--check out her post, she has some great comparison pics and a video!). Anyone found that in the Chicago suburbs area??

Anyways, I found the Beverly Hills display the other day at Walgreens.
Beverly Hills, Verbena, Savage, Why Not, and Pink Forever
Here's the ring from BH. So cute!

I loved how BH was a light lavender but then I got a little crazy with the sponging (Verbena and Savage). And it looked a little weird, so I added a new BM design in Konad White.

It looks very similar to my inspired Secret Wonderland mani:

I must love this color combo!

Oh, and here's my new favorite ring from loose threads on etsy:

So sparkley! And I got a great deal on this through Heartsy - Exclusive deals on fabulous handmade items at members-only prices.!

Thanks for looking!

My Favorite Stamping so far (with a gradient!)

I bought the new Bundle Monster plates and I knew this was the first one I had to try.

I started with 2 coats of Misa Sun Kissed. Then sponged on Color Club Ultra Violet about 3/4 of the nail starting from the tip with an eyeshadow applicator. Then sponged CC Pure Energy on the tips with the other side of the applicator. I waited for all that to dry, then stamped with the image from BM-225 with Purple Konad.

I think it looks a lot like my new favorite scent's packaging, Secret Wonderland, from B&BW.

I LOVE THIS!!   I wore this for a week I loved it so much!

What do you think?

SpaRitual Health, Wealth & Happiness

I picked this up when I ordered from SkinStore a while back. They have pretty good pricing and 20% off a lot of the time and they sell SpaRitual!

This is my first polish from SpaRitual and I think it's name is so suited for this color. A lot going on here = a lot of pics!

Sorry some are so blurry, this was at night. This is 3 coats of perfection!
Do you have this one? If not, GET IT!!

2 New Nail Polish Brands (New to Me, Anyways)

cently I stopped by my local beauty supply store (the only local one besides Sally's in my area) and picked up these 2 polishes that I have never heard of before.

First onto the mani I created with these two, Jaguar Luxury Mauvelous ($1.99) and Response #51 Lilac Sparkle ($0.99).

This is a really horrible mani b/c I was in a rush and I don't think I'll create it again b/c it did not turn out how I imagined it.

Anyways...I did three coats of Mauvelous, which really isn't too mauve, more a light purple with pink shimmer. It was a bit streaky, but evened out a bit as I put on more coats.

Then I topped it off with about three coats of Lilac Sparkle at the tips. Lilac Sparkle is purple and silver small glitter in a clear base.

This mani really did not turn out well since I had to do so many coats at the tips and it was just too thick.
Since these polishes were so cheap, I wasn't expecting too much from them. I thought that maybe there might have been a diamond in the rough, but not so much.

Here's some info about these two companies:
Jaguar Luxury
Jaguar Luxury is mainly wigs with a couple of beauty accessories thrown in. I can' seem to find anywhere to buy the polish or click to view the polish.
Bee Sales Co.
Bee Sales Co. sells mostly clothes but has some beauty accessories. It's located in Chicago which is about 45 minutes away from me. I might have to check them our since they have three stores over there with some pretty cute things.
Check 'em out:
(click to make bigger)

FYI- most of the links on their site don't work, especially the nail polish one.

Have any of you heard of either of these companies?

Thanks for looking!

My First Chanel!

I bet you are seeing a lot of bloggers writing 'My First Chanel' in regards to this polish. Lately, I haven't seen a Chanel that I really, the exception being Holographic.

This is a stunner! And this is why I need to go on a no-buy. The next ones that I want to get are Lippmann Across the Universe and Bad Romance. Too expensive polishes for this poor gal...Oh well, I have to wait until they are in stock anyways...

All the pics above I am trying to find that purple shimmer on my nails. The pic below really shows it even though it's horrible.

New Mood Polishes @ Meijer!

I stopped by Meijer yesterday to see if they had anything that I NEEDED to have since I am trying to go on a no-buy to pay for my wedding--yes, I am engaged, but more on that later!

I found a display of np's called Mood Struck. Sorry for the next 2 pics, camera phone + shakey hands from excitement= really blurrry pics!

Look at all that mood-changing-goodness! Although a lot of them were repeating colors.

Some of them looked like they were very watery and sheer, which I thought meant that they wouldn't work too well. So I picked one that looked like it would be the most drastic change. I went with this one:

This was all that was on each of them.

And they were each $3.99.

Unfortuately when I got home I realized that this really looks like the Calm/Wild from Claire's. So I pulled out that bottle to do a comparison.

Pretty f-ing close, eh?

Mood Struck looks a little bit of a truer purple(?) than Calm/Wild.
Let's see if we can tell the difference...

Can you?

I can't.
This is 2 coats of each. Index and ring are Calm/Wild; Middle and Pinky are Mood Struck. I think :)

It was apparant with the first stroke that Mood Struck was definitely a mood polish! I have to go back for more! Screw the no-buy, these are cheap, beautiful, awesome, what else can I say to justify this purchase?...Everything! Anything!

I'd say that the formula is a little better than Calm/Wild since mine was a little thick.

There was a lovely light pink to pale yellow with shimmer that I really want!

Just for good measure, here's some hot/cold water pics.

Cold water

Hot water

For those Mid-westerners, head over to your local Meijer to check these beauties out! They were on a side display at mine.

Has anyone else seen these?
