Review: Milani Nail Art

I was sent these Miliani nail art items to review a little while ago, so I thought I'd add some of them over Chapel of Love.

black sketch w/free runway nail rhinestones and decals, yellow design, white canvas, and purple outline

purple outline has some nice glitter in it--- all the rest are cream
I decided to do some dots on my thumbs with black sketch, white canvas, and purple outline. This was pretty easy to do.
Then on the other nails I did little lines. As you can see since purple outline is a glitter it is very hard to see.

I globbed it on a bit here.

Overall I really liked these and I didn't even need a topcoat! By the time I was done with the last nail the others were all dry and I was able to get my jacket and shoes on and take my dog for a walk!

I will be using the decals and rhinestones soon!

these were sent to me in exchange for an honest review

Subtle Black Shimmer Mani with Milani

For this mani I used polishes from the Milani Black Magic Collection that was out last halloween. I used Fairy Tale, Enchantment, Whimsical, and Garnet Gems (not from the Black Magic Collection but a dupe for Spellbinding).

First I did a coat of Lippmann Collection Fade to Black then I put a drop of each color in a different area of the nail for each nail.

There's a lot of this mani b/c I really like how it turned out, although you can't really see the colors from a distance. It just looks black, but I like it :)

Thanks for looking!

Recent 'halloween' haul & NOTD

I managed to pick up the following four at one trip to a CVS down the street. How lucky was that?

Milani Enchantment, Fairy Tale, Spellbinding, and WnW Fantasy Makers Black Magic

This was my first Lippman that I bought and it was on clearance at Bath & Body Works! Fade to Black covered in one coat!

Then 2 coats of WnW Black Magic

I loved this mani! I think I should have painted BM from left to right as well as normally. Then I would have gotten more different 'confetti' style.
I think that BM is an almost dupe to Jesse's Girl Confetti. It might have more blues and purples. But I really like this one and it was easy to find and cheap! $1.99, I think.
I actually wore Fairy Tale the other day and I thought I took pics, but I didn't. I think I like it more than Illamasqua Phallic. It covered in 2 coats and it lasted about 5 days!
Thanks for looking

New Drugstore NP Displays!

Sorry there haven't been any posts for a while, Ladies. I have been sick, still am. But feeling well enough to blog and scope out new np's at the drugstores that I have been a regular at for meds.

I did not purchase any of these, I am on a np strike since I have spent so much on Sally Hansen Nail Prisms from eBay (don't worry I will post pics when they arrive). A strike except for maybe Avon Charge Artist Transforming Nail Color ever since I saw Jen's review.

The first one up is Walgreens where I saw these 2 displays:

Feel free to enlarge, but this was taken with my crappy camera phone. The Tropical Colors don't really look much different from their regular colors, they are $1.99 each. I wouldn't jump on them myself.

The Shamrock Colors sparkle do not have little shamrock in them :( I thought they would have. If they did, one would have been mine, muhahah! Maybe they did and I was too out of it to notice? I believe these were also $1.99 each.

I found this next display at CVS:

Sorry this pic is worse than the others. Milani Illustrations of Love $3.79 each. Not sure if I would go crazy over these either.

Have you seen these around your local dugstores? What do you think? Would you buy? Are you heading out for them right now?
