Subtle Black Shimmer Mani with Milani

For this mani I used polishes from the Milani Black Magic Collection that was out last halloween. I used Fairy Tale, Enchantment, Whimsical, and Garnet Gems (not from the Black Magic Collection but a dupe for Spellbinding).

First I did a coat of Lippmann Collection Fade to Black then I put a drop of each color in a different area of the nail for each nail.

There's a lot of this mani b/c I really like how it turned out, although you can't really see the colors from a distance. It just looks black, but I like it :)

CND Oil Slick + Sapphire Sparkle

Here I have Oilslick + Sapphire Sparkle from the Colour + Effects Collection. Let me say that I LOVE the rubberized cap on these. They are so easy to unscrew! Especially when your nails are wet.

Oilslick is an inky blacken green. Very pretty very opaque in 2 coats and super shiny!

I did one layer of Sapphire Sparkle on all my nails except the ring finger I did a tip. As you can see so beautiful either way! Sapphire Sparkle has blue and purple tiny sparkles in a sheer base.
So beautiful!

Unfortunately this was after a day and a half of wear :(
Granted wear shows a lot more on darker colors and I didn't use a CND base coat, so that could be to blame.

Still a beautiful color!

Have any of you tried any of the Colour + Effects collections?

Nicole Blues in the Night

I got this two pack from Marshalls for $6.99.

Really Really Red is a perfect red. I haven't tried it yet but it looks like the truest red I have.

Blues in the Night is a gorgeous, shifting-color-changing beauty! This shifts from black with blue, green, purple, red shimmer! It reminds me of Borghese Stellare Notte but with shimmer.

The color in the bottle is beautiful! It's really hard to see this on the nail, but still such a gorgeous color!

This is my first Nicole and it applied beautifully! This is three coats I believe.

I will be having something special for all of you soon, see HERE for some details.

Halloween Nails

I know it's a little late (wasn't feeling too hot), but I wanted to share this Halloween mani with you since I didn't enter any Halloween contests. I really like how this turned out!

I used ChG Spellbound for the tips, Claire's Orange U Glad 2 C Me? for the orange, and I used some loose sparkles (I got like 12 colors for $1.99 on clearance at Micheal's!). For the sparkles I drew a stripe of clear polish along the smile line and 'dusted' some sparkles on with a brush. I used this tutorial and this video:

I drew 'webs' on my ring fingers with a thin painter's brush and I used Lippmann Fade to Black. Then put in little stripes of sparkles too. Enjoy!

This was a collar I found for Bella the day of Halloween at JoAnn Fabrics for like $3.99! It was for a medium-sized dog (which she is not), but she can't have any toys (because she destroys all of them) so I spoil her with collars :) The star *did* light up, but the battery fell out of it.

Thanks for looking!
Hope you all had a nice Halloween!
