bigRuby Nail Tattoos

I was sent some bigRuby nail tattoos a while back and I was naughty and lost them. But I found them again and I used them to do a 'summery' mani.

I used an old SH Opal for the base and Orly Cherry Bomb topped with Zoya Tanzy for the tips.

Then I added a bigRuby orange star for an accent as well as...

a cute little whale! IDk I thought it was summery!

These were super easy to use and look wonderful! My kinda nail art!

Thanks for looking!

Review: Milani Nail Art

I was sent these Miliani nail art items to review a little while ago, so I thought I'd add some of them over Chapel of Love.

black sketch w/free runway nail rhinestones and decals, yellow design, white canvas, and purple outline

purple outline has some nice glitter in it--- all the rest are cream
I decided to do some dots on my thumbs with black sketch, white canvas, and purple outline. This was pretty easy to do.
Then on the other nails I did little lines. As you can see since purple outline is a glitter it is very hard to see.

I globbed it on a bit here.

Overall I really liked these and I didn't even need a topcoat! By the time I was done with the last nail the others were all dry and I was able to get my jacket and shoes on and take my dog for a walk!

I will be using the decals and rhinestones soon!

The First Franken I have ever attempted

I made this before Christmas for a great Christmas polish or something comparable to Deborah Lippmann Ruby Red Slippers w/o the black base.

I added so many things to this I can't remember the whole list. I know that wnw Prancer and the topcoat it came with, ChG Phat Santa, Ruby Slippers and another ChG red cream. It came out super runny and thin b/c of that topcoat so I did 2 coats over 2 coats Phat Santa.

Then I attempted some tips with the Nail Art French Stamp Template DIY Kit that I got from Born Pretty Store. And I added a 'winter flower' with the 2way DOTTING Pen Marbleizing Tool Nail Art Dot Paint which didn't come out too well- my fault though.

Christmas NOTD with Water Decals

I am finally managing to post a NOTD that I am actually wearing right now! I have been so far behind lately.

Anyway, here's Barielle Elle's Spell. Three coats of jelly and flakey goodness.

Then I added some Christmas water decals that are from the Born Pretty Store.

I like putting the decals facing me than facing away from me. I like looking at them :)

I really like how easy these decal were to apply and that I didn't have to cut them all the way to the image. Most of the ones I've used I've had to cut them very precisely all the way to the image. These I didn't. I also really liked how I could wear these over a dark color and they still showed up.

They are available here for $4.73 and you get 11 sheets!

They are offering 10% off all orders from now until 3/31/2011.  The code is CONTESTS23.  Also, if you register on their website, you will receive a free Christmas nail art sticker.

Thanks for looking! I should have another Christmas mani before Christmas, maybe.

A portion of the items were sent to me in exchange for an honest review.

NOTD: STP Ruffian-esc Mani

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!
Now that that's out of the way....On to my mani!

First I started out with 2 coats of Hard Candy Envy. A beautiful, vampy blackened green with shimmer.

Then I added one coat of Glitter Gals 3D Holo Polish in Green. And I tried to do a bit of a Ruffian mani with it.
Then I slapped on Nailene green flower nail stickers and a little white one (because it got stuck on me when I tried to remove the green one). Then a coat of SH Insta-Dri and...

I tried to apply these water decals but they were a PITA to cut and apply not to mention clear so it didn't really work to well on this polish. I'll have to try these next year.

Thanks for looking and have a great St. Patrick's Day!!!
